MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server Support​

MCP allows CodeVista to connect with external tools and data sources such as repositories, documentation, APIs, or databases. This extends the Agent's capabilities beyond the local codebase.

How to use​

  1. Open the codevista_mcp_settings.json configuration file.
  2. Add the MCP server and required connection settings.
  3. Reload CodeVista to register the new tools.
  4. Use Agent mode to access and invoke the connected MCP tools.
