How to fix login issues in CodeVista for VS Code
Summary
If you have a problem while trying to log in CodeVista, follow these steps to have it fixed:
First, check the following:
Go to "Edit environment variables for your account".
Note: DO NOT click on "Edit the system environment variables", this is irrelevant in this case.

Check both the "User variables for ..." and "System variables" sections for any of the following variables:
http_proxyHTTP_PROXYhttps_proxyHTTPS_PROXYno_proxyNO_PROXY
Now, choose between the below 2 approaches:
If you found any of the above variables
If you found any of those, you have set up proxy via environment variables.
You can choose between the following solutions:
- If you can remove these environment variables: Remove all of them, then follow step number 3 below to clear VSCode proxy settings.
- If you cannot remove these variables, follow the below steps.
In the case where you cannot remove all of these variables due to other programs needing them, follow these steps:
- Ensure
NO_PROXYvariable is set. If not, create one in the "User variables" section. - Depending on your CodeVista program, you will have to insert a specific domain into this
NO_PROXYenvironment variable:- If you are in the CodeVista FCI environment:
codevista-test.fsoft.com.vn - If you are in the CodeVista FTEL environment:
ftel.ai4code.app - If you are in the CodeVista SOL environment:
codevista.fpt-aic.com
- If you are in the CodeVista FCI environment:
- In your VSCode Proxy settings, ensure all settings are at default settings. If not, reset all of them.

Now close all VSCode windows. Ensure no vscode.exe running via Task Manager. After that, start VSCode and open CodeVista.
If you can't find any of the above variables
This means you are not configuring any proxy via environment variables. You might have configured proxy via Windows settings or not.
Open PowerShell and run the following commands. If any of them appears, you still have the environment variables configured elsewhere:
echo $env:HTTP_PROXY
echo $env:HTTPS_PROXY
echo $env:NO_PROXY
echo $env:http_proxy
echo $env:https_proxy
echo $env:no_proxy
If any of them has any value, go to the "If you found any of the above variables" section and check again.
If you indeed can't find any environment variables set, then clear all VSCode Proxy settings. Close all VSCode windows.
Ensure no vscode.exe running via Task Manager. Start VSCode and open CodeVista.
Still doesn't work?
Collect all of the image evidence that you have followed the above steps, then contact the CodeVista support team for a resolution.
